Questions we hear most.
How long does a kitchen or bathroom remodel take?
Construction for a typical bathroom takes about 3–6 weeks and a kitchen about 6–12 weeks. Design and city permits come before that and depend on the scope and the city. You get a written schedule before any work begins.
How much does a remodel cost?
It depends on size, layout changes and the materials you choose. After a free on-site visit we give you a clear written estimate, so you know the price before you sign anything.
How do payments work?
Payments follow the milestones in your written contract — you pay as the work is completed, not everything upfront. Under California law, the down payment on a home improvement contract can't exceed 10% of the price or $1,000, whichever is less.
Do I need to move out during the remodel?
Usually not. We seal off the work area, protect floors and furniture, and clean up at the end of every day. For a kitchen remodel we'll help you plan a temporary setup for the weeks without a kitchen.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We prepare the drawings, file the permits with your city, and schedule and attend the inspections.
What does the warranty cover?
We give a 2-year warranty on all our workmanship — from plumbing, electrical and waterproofing to tile, grout, paint and trim. Fixtures and appliances also carry their manufacturer warranties. Everything is written into your contract.
